Tuition and Fees

Highline College is an excellent choice for pursuing your goals because we provide high-quality career-focused programs at a fraction of the cost of attending public and private state universities. In fact, with numerous funding options including grants that do not have to be paid back, many of our students graduate debt free.

Remember, your registration is not complete until you have paid tuition.

If you are struggling to pay your tuition and fees for any reason, consider the tuition payment plan. The cost to attend Highline College varies based on your residency status, course level and other factors.

Tuition Rates

Tuition is made up of three parts:

  • Operating Fee: supports college operations
  • Building Fee: supports infrastructure and innovation
  • Services and Activities Fee: supports student activities and programs

Tuition Rates by Residency

The current tuition table is based on residency classification. Residency classification is based on information provided during admission or readmission. Your residency status is posted in your ctcLink account. We determine your residency for tuition and fee purposes at the time you apply for admission. Non-resident (out-of-state) students pay a slightly higher tuition rate than resident (in-state) students do.
