Academic Advisement Reports (AAR)

What is an Academic Advisement Report?

The Academic Advisement Reports (AAR) are for planning only and are not official. The Registration/Records office conducts the final graduation evaluation, and official evaluations are communicated through the “Notes” tab in the degree audit.

The AAR shows how your classes apply to your academic program plan, and you can run a What-If report to see how they apply to a different program plan. If your program plan is wrong, use the online form to request a change.

Remember to consult with an academic advisor and the college catalog when planning your courses.  Learn more about the Academic Advisement Report and how to view it within ctcLink.

Note: Degree Audit has been replaced with Academic Advisement Reports (AAR) and What-If Reports in ctcLink.

How to use it

  • Go to the ctcLink Student Portal
  • Select Academic Progress tile
  • Click View What-if Report
  • Click Create New Report
  • Under Institution select Highline College
  • Make sure to choose the correct Catalog Year
