Videos and Workshops
Highline hosts virtual, in-person, and hybrid Financial Aid Workshops and Information Sessions.
The presentations will help students learn how to complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) and the Washington Application for State Financial Aid (WASFA) at no cost. The workshops are interactive and hands-on, allowing students to receive assistance in a group setting. Additional workshops are also offered to help students understand topics such as financial aid award letters.

This video will walk you through completing the 2025-26 FAFSA. You do not need to watch the entire video. The first 5 minutes will help you find the section of the video that will help you and your family complete the FAFSA. The 2024-25 FAFSA is new and very different FAFSA from previous years. This video will explain the major changes of the new FAFSA.

Workshops and Presentations
Workshops are hands-on events where students can get assistance in a group setting. Students must bring a verified account username and password (FSA ID), parent or spouse name, date of birth, social security number, email address, federal income tax returns, W-2s and other income records, and bank statements/asset information (if required). Parents and guardians are welcome to attend these workshops.
Presentations are not a hands-on sessions and students will not be able to complete the FAFSA or WASFA at this event. The presentation will present to students how to fill out the FAFSA and WASFA. After the presentation, the Financial Aid Staff will take questions.
