Steps to register

At Highline students register, add/drop classes, manage waitlists and get grades online using their student ID number (SID) and personal ID number (PIN).

 Need a SID or PIN?   Please contact Admissions.

1. Get your registration time Current students and former students who have earned credit at Highline may register at, or anytime after, their registration time.  Check the calendar to find out when new student registration begins.  From that date forward, any student may register without a registration time.

2. Find classes Use the class schedule to find 4-digit course item numbers, days, times, instructor name and a link to instructor contact information.

3. Plan your schedule Use this link to see the course offerings for the quarter and create your schedule. "How to"  video image and link

4. Register - Add/Drop Use this option to register for your classes. You will need your SID and PIN and  the 4-digit course item numbers. Once registered, you can add or drop classes through this link or use the Add/Drop form.

5. View your schedule Use this option to view and print a copy of your class schedule that includes the days, times and location of each class. "How to"  video image and link

6. Pay tuition and fees online

Pay online using a credit card.
Tip:
If enrolling in summer & fall classes, register & pay for summer quarter before registering for fall classes.

7. Manage your waitlist Check your class schedules, add or remove yourself from a waitlist. Find out how waitlists work. "How to"  video image and link

  Entry codes Find out how to get an entry code, if you are asked for one during registration.

  Block on your records During registration, if you get an error message that states "There is a flag on your records that blocks registration", contact Registration & Records for help.
